How do you manage to your inventory with the use of technology?

There are a few systems we use in order to get stock efficiently to restaurants. We use forecasting tools to ensure the delivery of products from suppliers to restaurants. Along with this, each restaurant uses a bespoke ordering system to review previous orders and select the products they'll need in their next delivery.

We also use a warehouse management system to manage stock and a voice activated system to tell the picker which items to pick and where to get them from. Cool, huh?

When scheduling vehicle routes we use a system that plans the most effective routes for our entire fleet. This takes into account time of day, road speeds, roadworks and type of vehicle. It's pretty smart.
