What do you feed your cattle?
May 21, 2018
Our cattle are mainly fed a grass and cereal based diet, and we can ensure that all cattle feed conforms to national and EU legislation. This is due to the compliance of our farms to a nationally recognised Farm Assurance scheme.
During summer months, cattle in Britain and Ireland often have access to grazing pasture. However, during the winter months cattle are generally housed indoors where they tend to be fed silage, which is preserved grass, and/or a cereal based diet. A typical cereal diet might include wheat, barley, oilseed rape and minerals.
