What has McDonald’s done to minimise the risk of cross contamination to my McDelivery order?

March 14, 2022

To reduce the risk of cross contamination, we package your food in bags which we seal using the McDelivery stickers. Where couriers are collecting your order at the same time as an order from another Restaurant, which is not McDonald’s, we advise couriers that they should separate your order from other orders by using separate delivery bags or separate compartments within the bag. If there is any evidence of a spillage, the order should not be delivered to you and you will receive a full refund.

Whilst we have these safety measures in place to reduce food safety risks, couriers may be delivering more than one order at the same time so we cannot completely eliminate the risk of cross contamination from allergens.
