McDonald’s Fun Football Centre Sessions 2023 General Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (these “Terms”) apply between you and McDonald’s Restaurants Limited (“McDonald’s”) in relation to McDonald’s Fun Football Centre Sessions taking place in 2023 (the “Programme”).

Children that meet the eligibility requirements set out below may participate in a Fun Football session (each a “Session”).

Sessions are provided by McDonald’s in collaboration with qualified third-party football coaching providers (the “Providers”)

Each person who applies for their child to participate in the Programme (an “Applicant”) unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Terms and the decisions of McDonald’s (or decisions of the Provider which are taken on McDonald’s behalf), which shall be final and binding with respect to all aspects of the Programme.

2. Eligibility

(a) The Programme is open to all children that are aged between 5 and 11 years old at the time of their participation in a Session (“Eligible Children”). For the avoidance of doubt, a child will not be eligible to participate in a Session if they are 12 years old or over on the date of the relevant Session.

(b) To register an Eligible Child in the Programme, each Applicant must be at the time of entry:

• 18 years or over;

• a resident of the United Kingdom;

• able to access the internet; and

• compliant with any other eligibility requirements in these Terms.

(c) McDonald’s or the Provider have the right to request identification and information in order to verify the information provided by the Applicant as part of the application to the Programme, including the age of any child and the relationship that an Applicant has with a child.

3. Registration

(a) To apply for the Programme, Applicants must truthfully and accurately complete the online entry form available on the McDonald’s Fun Football Website (the “Site”) and submit it in accordance with the instructions provided on the Site.

(b) Registrations for the Sessions for the period 1st March 2023 to 31st December 2023 will open from 20th February 2023 until the Friday before the last Session has been hosted.

(c) Applicants must register their child(ren) no later than 08:59am on the Friday prior to the weekend of the Fun Football coaching session that they wish their child(ren) to attend via the McDonald’s Football Website –, failing which any application not so received may be deemed void.

(d) Children who are registered after the Friday will not be accepted onto that week’s Session unless there is space in that Session.

(e) Registration will be carried out on a first-come first-serve basis and each Session will have a capacity as set by the Providers – working to a 1:10 child to coach ratio.

(f) Should the Fun Football Centre be at full capacity, McDonald’s endeavours to inform you at least 24 hours in advance and may suggest an alternative option.

(g) All parents / guardians register their child at their own risk and McDonald’s or the Providers cannot be held responsible for any injury sustained.

(h) McDonald’s reserves the right to exclude any application on any ground, including but not limited: false information; breach of these Terms; fraudulence or other misconduct; if in its reasonable opinion, it considers that there is a significant risk that the Applicant may bring the McDonald’s brand into disrepute.

(i) McDonald’s provides no guarantee that all applications will be successful. To the extent that McDonald’s accepts an application, McDonald’s still reserves the right to reject such application at a later date should it so desire.

4. Format of a Session

(a) The Programme is operated from various locations across England (as advertised by McDonald’s from time to time) (each such location at which the Programme is operated from shall be referred to as a “Location”).

(b) Each Location may host one or more Sessions. McDonald’s provides no guarantee as to the maximum or minimum number of Sessions that a Location may or may not host.

(c) Each Session will last for around 1 hour each.

(d) Each Session will be delivered by a Provider’s qualified coaches.

(e) The Providers will be the first point of contact for an Applicant who has any queries surrounding the Sessions. Contact details for the relevant Provider will be communicated via email to Applicants on the Friday before a Session takes place.

(f) Based on current guidelines, no Session should contain more than 27 participants, and 3 coaches. However, McDonald’s and Providers reserve the right to increase or decrease the capacity of the Sessions at its sole and exclusive discretion.
