Q: Where do I find my unique QR code to redeem my Birthday Bundle offer?

A: You should have received a standalone paper Birthday Bonus “Slip” with your Birthday Bundle. If it is missing, contact us via the webform or in the app.

Q: Why do I need the McDonald’s app to claim my offer?

A: This is to manage the unique code that comes with each Birthday Bonus and prevent the risk of fraud. The great news is that the McDonald’s app will enable you to start playing for free food prizes, collect loyalty points, order through Mobile Order and Pay, access previously-claimed birthday bonuses, and continue accessing great app-exclusive deals well beyond the promotion ends.

Q: I’m having trouble redeeming my Birthday Bonus.

A: You must have the McDonald’s app to officially claim your Birthday Bonus. There are two ways to do this: 1) Pointing your mobile camera at the QR code and clicking the link that appears, then following the prompts; or 2) Going in to the Macca’s 50th Birthday Game portal in the app and following the prompts to point the camera at the birthday voucher QR code. If you are still experiencing trouble, you can contact us via the webform or in the app.

Q: I’m having trouble using my Timezone or The Warehouse offer.

A: Please reach out to the relevant vendor’s Customer Care team to troubleshoot any issues with your unique redemption codes. McDonald’s has limited ability to support customers after they have used the birthday voucher QR code and selected their offer through the app, as the unique redemption codes are supplied directly from the vendor.

Q: I’ve lost my claimed Timezone and The Warehouse offers!

A: Visibility of the Timezone and The Warehouse offers that customers have already claimed will disappear off the McDonald’s app when the promotion ends. The offers will still remain valid until their redemption period expires, but customers will need to access their codes via their app-registered email inbox.

Q: When must I redeem my Birthday Bonus QR code by?

A: All Birthday Bonus codes must be redeemed through the app between 5:00am 2 September 2026 and 11:59pm 18 October 2026. Any Bonuses that are not claimed after this time will be forfeited.

Q: When must I use my Timezone or The Warehouse offers by?

A: Each offer has differing redemption periods. Timezone’s offer must be redeemed before 30 November 2026. The Warehouse’s discount must be redeemed before 27 October 2026.

Q: The Warehouse staff won’t honour my 35% off toys discount!

A: Unfortunately The Warehouse’s offer is exclusive to online transactions made on http://www.thewarehouse.co.nz/ , however you can still Click & Collect your order at your local The Warehouse by following the prompts when shopping online. Q: Are the Birthday Bundle vouchers stackable?

A: You can stack the Timezone offers, meaning if you select the Timezone gift twice (with two eligible Birthday Bundle purchases and vouchers) you can get up to 60 minutes of free gameplay and 400 redemption tickets (2 x 30 minute gameplays + 2 x 200 redemption tickets). The Warehouse’s offer is not stackable and single-use only per transaction.
