McCafé Loyalty Terms & Conditions
McDonald's McCafé Loyalty Scheme Terms & Conditions
- The McCafé loyalty scheme (Scheme) is operated at participating McDonald's restaurants in the Republic of Ireland in accordance with these terms and conditions (Terms).
- To participate in the Scheme, a customer must download and sign up for the McDonald’s app. Use of the McDonald’s app is subject to the app terms and conditions, which can be found here.
- The Scheme allows customers to collect digital stamps for each eligible McCafé hot drink purchased. Once a customer collects 6 digital stamps, the customer will be entitled to receive one regular eligible McCafé hot drink for free. No stamp is earned for redemption of the free drink.
- Eligible McCafé hot drinks include the following drinks: Americano, Cappuccino, Espresso, Flat White, Latte, White Coffee, Hot Chocolate, or Tea. Hot Chocolate is not available in all restaurants. McCafé iced drinks are not eligible and will not earn any digital stamps.
- To collect a digital stamp, the customer must ensure that their McDonald’s app account has been linked to the order prior to making payment. This can be done by scanning the QR code in the app or by providing the McDonald’s staff member with the unique code from the app. It is not possible for stamps to be applied retrospectively to an account after an order has already been paid for.
- Stickers and loyalty cards from previous loyalty scheme promotions will no longer be accepted.
- The restaurant may (in its discretion) offer a suitable alternative of equal or greater value.
- The Promoter reserves the right to refuse participation to any customer if in its reasonable opinion, the customer has breached any of these Terms or the terms of use of the McDonald’s app.
- This Scheme cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer unless otherwise stated on the other promotion or offer.
- The Promoter may terminate or suspend the Scheme (entirely or in part) at any time if supervening circumstances occur which are beyond the Promoter's reasonable control. Details of any such termination or suspension shall be posted on the same page as these Terms.
- The Promoter may terminate or suspend the Scheme for any reason, provided that, unless the termination or suspension is in accordance with clause 9 above, the Promoter will provide customers with reasonable notice.
- The Promoter's decision in the exercise or interpretation of any of its rights or discretions in connection with these Terms shall be final and binding. The Promoter may waive or modify any requirement under the Terms where a person might otherwise not qualify for the offer and without implying any obligation to relax that requirement in any other case.
- These Terms are written in English. Nothing in these Terms shall affect your statutory rights. The Promoter may (in its sole discretion) decline to enter into any correspondence save as otherwise stated in these Terms.
- The Promoter retains at all times ownership of, and all intellectual property rights in and to, all advertising in connection with the Scheme.
- All instructions and terms and conditions on any advertising or promotional materials relating to this promotion form part of these Terms although, in the event of conflict, these provisions shall prevail over all such other instructions and terms and conditions. Expressions which have been defined above shall have the same meanings when used in such other instructions and terms and conditions wherever the context admits.
