McDonald's is now making it easy to recycle old plastic toys* – that’s right, even if they’re not one of ours.
Toys play a vital role in a child’s development, and remain a much-loved part of every Happy Meal – but afterwards they can be so much more. Bring in your old plastic toys and we’ll work with our recycling partner to give them a new life, making them useful for years to come.
The Big Toy Take Back runs from 13th November to 3rd December 2019 at selected restaurants:

We will work with our recycling partners in the United Kingdom to recycle the plastic contained in the returned toys. A range of items can be produced from recycled plastic, including, by way of example, coffee cups, bins and giant games.
