IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ OUR GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY AS THEY CONTAIN PROVISIONS THAT AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
By downloading, installing, accessing, viewing, or otherwise using websites, newsletters and/or subscriptions via email, mobile applications, or other digital products where the following general terms and conditions are published or referenced ("Online Services"), you enter into an agreement with Food Folk Sverige AB ("McDonald's" "we" or "us") in its capacity as a franchisee of McDonald's Corporation with headquarters at Klarabergsviadukten 63, 111 64 Stockholm.
Your agreement with us includes these general terms and conditions and McDonald's Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information. You confirm that you have read and understood and accept these general terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy and that you consent to be bound by them. If you are not prepared to be bound by (or cannot fulfill) the general terms and conditions and the Privacy Policy, you may not use the Online Services or access any content in them.
The Online Services are not intended to be used by (and are not directed to) persons under 16 years of age. You must therefore be 16 years or older to use the Online Services. 1. About the Online Services
Access to products and services. McDonald's products and services are available in many parts of the world. Note that the Online Services may describe products and services that are not available in all countries.
You are responsible for your mobile devices and tools. You are responsible for mobile devices, software, and services needed to use the Online Services. McDonald's does not guarantee that the Online Services will function fully on any particular mobile device or with any specific software. You are also responsible for all message and data costs, fees, and taxes for your use of the Online Services, including when we communicate with you via SMS, email, or other means you choose, except where communication by law is free of charge. You may only use the Online Services on mobile devices that you own or control, and you may only use the operating system authorized for the device (e.g., Apple iPhone OS for Apple products). If you create an account for use of the Online Services, you are obligated to protect the account and you are responsible for all use that occurs through your account. You may only have one user account for the Online Services and your account information must always be accurate.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide when creating a user account is complete, truthful, and correct and for keeping it updated. Username and password must be kept secret and stored securely. You are personally responsible for all actions taken under your user account. If your username or password is lost or stolen, or if you have reason to believe that unauthorized access to your user account has occurred, we ask you to immediately change your password and notify McDonald's about this.
McDonald's right to update or discontinue the Online Services. McDonald's reserves the right to, from time to time, modify or discontinue the Online Services or your access to them. This may occur, for example, when McDonald's implements updates to the online service (or removes functionality or access to) McDonald's applications that you have installed on your device.
Terms and updates. McDonald's may at any time (with or without notice) update, modify, or discontinue wi-fi or online services (or your access to them), including by pushing updates to (or removing features or access from) any McDonald's online services you may have installed on your device.
When you use wi-fi and online services that are not linked to a user account (such as mcdonalds.se via computer or mobile), the current terms will always be made available to you and accepted before you use the services. Any changes will therefore not be notified. The terms and conditions that apply to the use of wi-fi and online services, as well as for your order, will be those stated on mcdonalds.se at the time you use the wi-fi and/or online services.
For use of online services where you have a user account and have thus accepted the terms at registration (such as the McDonald's Sweden app or customer club), McDonald's may change these terms. The current terms will be available in the relevant app and on mcdonalds.se. McDonald's may make minor changes (such as changes in wording and layout) or other changes that are to your benefit, without notice to you. McDonald's may change the terms in ways that may be to your disadvantage only if necessary with regard to our business conditions (such as decisions to change services or change conditions regarding the customer club, including rewards, points, and offers), increased costs, or to comply with applicable legislation, including decisions and guidelines from authorities. If the terms are changed to your disadvantage, you will either i) be asked to actively accept the changed terms, or ii) be informed of the change 1 month before it takes effect. The notification will be sent to the email address you provided at registration.
If you do not accept the changed terms, you should immediately, or before the change takes effect (when the notification of the change is sent), stop using the wi-fi and online services and ask McDonald's to close any online service accounts you may have created. To close your account, go to the login page and then select 'delete account'. Alternatively, you can contact us here and provide the email address associated with the account you want to delete. We reserve the right to block the user's account without notice if the person violates one or more provisions in these terms and conditions. The individual provisions of these terms are independent of each other. If any of them is deemed illegal, invalid, or without legal effect, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which continue to be fully valid.
Many restaurants are owned and operated by independent business operators. McDonald's operates and controls the Online Services but is not responsible for how most McDonald's restaurants conduct their business. Most McDonald's restaurants are instead owned and operated by independent franchisees or subsidiaries of McDonald's (such franchisees and subsidiaries are called "restaurants" in these terms). Each restaurant is independently responsible for compliance with laws and other regulations, for any questions regarding the delivery of products to you, and for questions concerning employees/employment at the restaurant. (Name and address regarding the restaurant are on your receipt).
Which smartphones can download the app? The app can be used on devices using iOS and Android mobile operating systems. Version compatibility can be checked in either the App Store or Play Store, depending on the device. For security reasons, McDonald's does not support all old versions of operating systems. When the app is used with other smartphone systems, we cannot guarantee its functionality.
Links to job offers from the Online Services. McDonald's and all restaurants believe in equal opportunities for everyone and we value diversity. The Online Services may contain links to job offers from McDonald's or from individual restaurants. Such an offer refers only to the individual restaurant (the franchisee or subsidiary) and not McDonald's or its parent company McDonald's Corporation. This means that it is the restaurant (franchisee or subsidiary) alone that determines the requirements for employment and who will be hired and makes decisions in all other employment-related matters. Neither McDonald's nor the parent company receives any copy of an application you submit to a restaurant that is a franchisee. McDonald's and its parent company also cannot control whether you are called for an interview or get employment with the franchisee and do not control the franchisee's employment policy or practices. Neither McDonald's nor its subsidiaries employ independent franchisees. If you are employed by a restaurant that is a franchisee, only the franchisee and not McDonald's or McDonald's Corporation is your employer.

2. Information and communication
McDonald’s Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy, together with these general terms and conditions, constitutes your agreement with Svenska McDonald’s AB. The Privacy Policy describes how we handle information, including how we collect, use, and share the information.
How we communicate with you. Through the Online Services, you can choose to receive emails, SMS messages to the phone number you have provided to us, or “push notifications” from McDonald’s. When you opt for any of these types of communication, you acknowledge and agree that you will receive marketing and other messages from McDonald’s, and that McDonald’s may use the information you have provided to communicate with you in accordance with McDonald’s Privacy Policy.
General option to unsubscribe from further communication. You have a choice regarding how we communicate with you. You can find your communication preferences with McDonald’s and instructions on how to unsubscribe in the profile section of the Online Service you are using. You can also change your communication preferences under “Settings.” Additionally, our messages may include an option to opt out of further communication. You understand and accept that you need to make a choice for each specific type of communication separately. For example, if you opt out of receiving marketing emails, you may still receive marketing via SMS unless you also opt out of thattype of communication. We do our best to offer convenient and accessible methods for you to choose your preferred type of communication, but you may need to adjust your preferences in relation to the individual Online Service.
Please note that for account- or transaction-related communication, the only way to stop receiving such communication in some cases may be to terminate your user account for the Online Services. Also note that if you have communicated with a McDonald’s franchisee, you must contact the franchisee directly to stop receiving a specific type of communication.

3. Sending orders to restaurants
This section applies to all orders you place using the Online Services. Please read this section before submitting any orders to restaurants using the Online Services. Note that the ordering feature may not be available in all Online Services. See the FAQ for more information about the ordering feature.
About the Ordering Feature.
The purpose of the ordering feature is to provide customers with a convenient way to create product orders in advance and submit them to a participating restaurant.
To place an order using the Online Services, you must have a registered account. The following information is required for registration: first and last name, and email address.
Registering Your Payment Method.
Before submitting an order, you must register a credit or debit card (each a “payment card”) to be used in connection with your orders.
McDonald’s and the restaurants use third-party providers to securely store your payment card information and process your payments to restaurants. You understand and agree that when you register a payment card, McDonald’s or its third-party providers may verify that the card is valid. You also understand and agree that when you use the ordering feature to make a purchase from a restaurant, that restaurant will be the registered seller. Restaurants may require additional information beyond your order number to verify your purchase. You represent and warrant that you are of legal age and have all legal rights to use any payment card you register.
You Are Purchasing Products Directly from Restaurants.
When you use the ordering feature, you submit orders directly to a participating restaurant, and the agreement to deliver the products is made between you and the restaurant receiving your order. The restaurant where you pick up your products is responsible for preparing and providing them to you. You further understand and agree that you are purchasing directly from restaurants (and not from McDonald’s Corporation or any other McDonald’s entity), and that neither McDonald’s Corporation nor any other McDonald’s entity has any responsibility related to products you purchase from restaurants using the ordering feature.
Creating, Paying for, and Submitting Your Order to a Restaurant.
You can use the ordering feature to create your order and submit it to a participating restaurant of your choice. Your purchase is made and your payment card is charged when you press “Pay and Start Your Order” in the Online Service. You will receive an order number. Orders must be picked up in person from the selected restaurant.
About Products/Ordering Options in the Online Services.
Product availability for online ordering may vary between restaurants. Once you’ve selected a restaurant, you’ll see either the breakfast menu or the regular menu for that location. After choosing a service option (counter or McDrive), you’ll see the availability for each (e.g., 06:00–00:00). If you arrive after the restaurant’s opening hours, you will not be able to collect your online order and no refund will be issued. Please ensure you can pick up your order on time before confirming and paying.
If you choose counter pickup, you’ll receive a message indicating the approximate preparation time. Once you confirm and pay, your order will be prepared. If location services are enabled and you are far from the restaurant, you’ll be prompted to confirm you’re ready to pay before preparation begins. If location services are disabled, your order will be prepared immediately after payment. Make sure to arrive in good time.
For McDrive pickup, you confirm and pay immediately, but your order will not be prepared until you arrive at McDrive and provide your order number. If you arrive after a menu change (e.g., from breakfast to regular menu) or if your ordered items are unavailable, please speak with restaurant staff.
For parking lot or table service pickup, you must enter your parking spot or table number in the app before you can pay. Your order will be prepared once you confirm and pay. When ready, staff will deliver it to your parking spot or table, depending on your selected option.
Some restaurants do not sell all products. Product and packaging images in the Online Services are examples only and may not match what you receive. Differences may result from display color variations or physical product differences due to supplier, region, or season.
About Prices in the Ordering Feature.
Each restaurant sets its own prices and applies any required taxes and fees. Some offers and prices may not be available for all orders or locations. If you notice a pricing error for a product you were charged for, contact the restaurant where you made the purchase to request a refund of the difference.
Location Services.
You may need to enable location services on your device to benefit from automatic selection of the nearest restaurant and location checks if you are too far away when submitting and paying for your order. If location services are disabled or you prefer not to order from the nearest restaurant, you must select a restaurant manually.
Paying for Your Order.
When you press “Pay and Start Your Order,” you agree that the restaurant will process your order. The restaurant’s payment service will process your payment and charge the payment card you provided. You may receive a message from the ordering feature confirming that the restaurant has accepted your order and is preparing it. You own the products once you have collected them.
What If I Have a Payment Issue or Want a Refund?
Contact your bank if you have questions about charges on your payment card statement or to dispute a restaurant transaction charged to your card. Your bank can advise you on its policies and how it handles pending charges.
What Should I Do If I Suspect Fraudulent Activity on My Account?
If you believe incorrect or unauthorized charges appear on your account, contact your bank immediately. You should also update your password right away. Security experts recommend using strong passwords and different username/password combinations for each account.
Cancelling an Order, Refunds, and Consumer Rights.
You can modify or cancel your order until you confirm and pay. Once confirmed and paid, cancellation is no longer possible. If you request a refund, including for unsatisfactory products, please contact the restaurant where you made your purchase. Your legal rights are not affected by these terms.

(4) Only one offer may be used per restaurant visit. (5) Offers are non-transferable. (6) Offers cannot be redeemed for cash. How to Earn Points. You earn points based on the value of your qualifying purchase, where one Swedish krona (1 SEK) equals one point.
You can earn points on a maximum of three purchases per day. The daily reward limit is 1,000 points. No points are earned on the fourth or subsequent purchases on the same day. The limit resets at 00:00 the following day.
Points are earned from qualifying purchases at participating restaurants when you place your order: (i) on your device using the Online Services; (ii) at the counter or kiosk by scanning your digital loyalty card; or (iii) at a drive-through by stating the alphanumeric code or scanning the QR code.
If you do not follow this process at the time of purchase, you will not earn points and cannot claim them retroactively. Points may take time to appear in your account.
Bonus or Promotional Campaigns. McDonald’s may occasionally offer bonus campaigns or point promotions that allow you to earn points in new and different ways. Details will be provided with each campaign.
Maximum Points You Can Earn. Your account can hold a maximum of 9,999 points at any given time (“reward limit”). If a qualifying purchase would exceed this limit, no additional points will be added. The daily reward limit remains 1,000 points across up to three purchases.
Redeeming Your Points. You can redeem points at participating restaurants for free products or discounts from the MyRewards menu (“redeemable product(s)”).
You must use the McDonald’s app to convert your points into an offer of your choice from the MyRewards menu.
Redemption occurs: (i) on your device using the Online Services; (ii) at the counter or kiosk by scanning the QR code; or (iii) at a drive-through by stating the alphanumeric code or scanning the QR code.
MyRewards Menu. The products available for redemption and the number of points required for each are listed in the MyRewards menu in the app.
Point Expiry. Points expire at the end of the calendar month one year after they were earned.
Refunds.
McDonald’s may remove points if products are returned and a full or partial refund is issued. This also applies to product exchanges unless the replacement has the same point value.
Suspicious Activity.
McDonald’s may take appropriate action, including removing or closing your account and forfeiting earned points, if suspicious activity is detected, including but not limited to:
(i) involvement in illegal or fraudulent activities;
(ii) providing or attempting to provide false or misleading information to McDonald’s or a participating restaurant;
(iii) selling, transferring, acquiring, or offering to sell, transfer, or acquire any reward, benefit, or points outside of these terms;
(iv) earning excessive points through fraud or other means.
Other Terms.
Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
You may only have one MyMcDonald’s Rewards account at a time.
You are responsible for updating any changes to your name, email, or other details as soon as possible. McDonald’s is not responsible for failure to update your information.
McDonald’s reserves the right to terminate the loyalty program if events beyond its reasonable control prevent its continuation.
McDonald’s may refuse coupons/loyalty points if there is reasonable suspicion of manipulation.
An account is automatically closed upon the account holder’s death. Unredeemed points and/or coupons will be canceled. McDonald’s will close the account upon notification of the death and is not liable for any loss resulting from such cancellation.
McDonald’s retains ownership of all materials and advertisements related to coupons and/or the loyalty program, including all intellectual property rights.
Participation in the loyalty program constitutes acceptance of these terms and their interpretation under Swedish law.
The following are not considered valid participation in the coupon and/or loyalty program:
any purchase, sale, offer to sell, gift, or other action involving the app or coupons/points outside of what is expressly permitted by these terms;
any use of McDonald’s advertisements, content, or intellectual property for any purpose not expressly permitted by these terms;
any violation of these terms.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. McDonald’s may, at its sole discretion, decline to engage in correspondence, except as otherwise stated in these terms.
Instructions and Terms Related to Promotional Material
All instructions and terms related to advertising and promotional material associated with this campaign form part of these terms. However, in the event of a conflict, the provisions herein shall take precedence over all other instructions and terms. Terms defined above shall have the same meaning when used in other instructions and terms, where applicable in context.
Campaign Administrator
1100 Marketing Ekonomisk Förening is responsible for the coupons and/or the loyalty program.
You may close your account at any time by selecting “Delete Account” in the Profile section of the app. Once you receive confirmation that your account has been closed, all accumulated coupons/loyalty points on your account will immediately expire. Therefore, McDonald’s recommends that customers carefully plan any account closure to avoid accidental loss of accumulated points. Once points have expired, they cannot be reinstated.
Inactivity. If you have not been active in the app for a total of 390 days, your account will be deleted. After 360 days, a push notification will be sent via the app prompting you to log in within 30 days, after which the account will be deleted.
You Are Purchasing Products Directly from Restaurants. When you redeem offers or points, you do so directly with a participating restaurant, and the agreement to deliver the products is made between you and the restaurant receiving your order (not with McDonald’s or any other member of the McDonald’s system). The restaurant where you collect your products is responsible for preparing and providing them to you.
YOU FURTHER UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT YOU ARE PURCHASING DIRECTLY FROM RESTAURANTS (AND NOT FROM McDONALD’S OR ANY OTHER MEMBER OF THE McDONALD’S SYSTEM), AND THAT NEITHER McDONALD’S NOR ANY OTHER MEMBER OF THE McDONALD’S SYSTEM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PRODUCTS YOU PURCHASE FROM RESTAURANTS VIA THE ORDERING FEATURE.
McDonald’s Corporation (the parent company), its subsidiaries, affiliates, their respective franchisees, agents, representatives, and employees, including officers and directors, are collectively referred to as “members of the McDonald’s system.”
About Products in the Online Services. All products are subject to availability at the restaurant where you collect your order. Some restaurants do not sell all products. Images of products and packaging in the Online Services are for illustrative purposes only and may not match the actual product or packaging you receive. Differences may be due to your device’s display, ingredients used, supplier, region, or season.
About Prices in the Ordering Feature. Each restaurant sets its own prices. Some offers and prices may not be available for all orders or locations. If you notice a pricing error for a product you were charged for, contact the restaurant where you made the purchase to request a refund of the difference.
Refunds and Your Consumer Rights. If you wish to request a refund for any reason, including dissatisfaction with the products or other reasons, you should contact the restaurant where you purchased the product regarding any refund they may owe you. Your legal rights in this regard are not affected by anything in these terms.

- These terms shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with Swedish law.
- Although these terms govern the contractual relationship between you and McDonald’s (and Apple and other members of the McDonald’s system are not parties to the agreement), Apple and other members of the McDonald’s system are third-party beneficiaries under these terms.
