The flavoured milks contain Stevia, which is a natural sweetener extracted from the leaves of the stevia plant.

Do the flavoured milks contain any artificial preservatives, colour, or flavours?

No, the flavoured milk contains only natural flavourings.
 

McFreezy®

Does the McFreezy® contain any artificial preservatives, colour, or flavours?

No, the McFreezy® is made of a combination of fruit juices and fruit purées.

Is the McFreezy® vegan?

Yes, the McFreezy® is vegan certified.

Is the McFreezy® dairy free?

The McFreezy® does not contain any milk or milk containing ingredients.

Mayo Chicken

What is the nutritional information for a Mayo Chicken without the mayo?

A Mayo Chicken without the mayo would provide 284 kcal, 12g protein, 37g Available Carbohydrates, (Of which Sugars = 4.3g), 9.2g Fat (Of which Saturated Fats = 1.2g), 2.7g Fibre and 0.93g Salt.

Do you use the same sauce in your McChicken® Sandwich and Mayo Chicken?

The sauces on the McChicken® Sandwich and the Mayo Chicken are different. We use "Sandwich sauce" on our McChicken® Sandwich and "Cool Mayo" on our Mayo Chicken. FISH FAQ

What fish do you use in your Fish Bites and Filet-o-Fish®?

Our famous Filet-o-Fish® and Fish Bites use Pollock. All our fish comes from Marine Stewardship Council certified sustainable fisheries, which means we’re helping to safeguard fish stocks for the future. You can find more information on our sustainably sourced fish.

Are your fish bites fried separately?

In Ireland the Fish Bites are fried in a separate fryer with the Filet-o-Fish® patty in 100% vegetable oil. This oil is filtered every day. However due to the design of the oil filtration system, during the oil filtering process, there is a small chance the oil used to cook our fish can come into contact with oil that has been used to cook chicken products. We therefore cannot guarantee cross-contamination will not occur at this stage but we have taken measures to minimise the amount of any cross-contamination.

Why do McDonald's use Pollock?

What fish products do you serve?

The only fish products we serve are the Filet-o-Fish® and Fish Bites.

Are the fish bites dairy and soya free?

There are no ingredients derived from milk or soya products in our Fish Fingers or Fries in our Irish restaurants. Milk and soya products are used in some of our other menu items, so please let your server know your dietary requirements when placing your order. Can you provide a list of menu items that do not contain cow's milk?

Our Fish Bites and Fries do not contain any cow's milk as ingredients. Other food on the menu that does not contain cow's milk include: Grilled Chicken Salad with Balsamic Dressing, Grilled Chicken and Bacon Salad with Fajita or Balsamic Dressing, Shaker Side Salad® with Balsamic Dressing, Carrot Sticks, Fruit Bag, Hash Brown and Tomato Ketchup, Sweet & Sour Dip, Sweet Curry Dip, Smoky BBQ Dip, Sweet Chilli Dip.
