We only cook free-range EGGS

at breakfast

Eggs you can count on

We care where the eggs in your breakfast come from. That’s why every egg we cook at breakfast is free-range, from UK or Irish farmers who really look after their hens.

What does free-range mean?

It means the hens that lay our eggs get plenty of room to roam around, whether they’re inside the barn or outside exploring. We also make sure there is a minimum of 20% tree cover, so they can rest in the shade because healthier hens means better quality eggs.

Our eggs have high standards

The eggs we cook at breakfast conform to the Lion Quality Code of Practice or equivalent and meet RSPCA Assured standards. They also win awards. Compassion in World Farming have given us two Good Egg Awards, for our commitment to only using free-range eggs across our entire breakfast menu, the most recent in 2015.

They’re perfectly formed
