West Zone President

Skye Anderson is the West Zone President for McDonald’s USA. In this role, she leads strategy, talent and brand development to drive long-term growth for more than 5,700 McDonald’s restaurants across the Western United States.

Skye joined the U.S. business from McDonald’s Australia. After 17 years in finance at McDonald’s culminating in her role as CFO of McDonald’s Australia, Skye was offered a life-changing opportunity to join McDonald’s USA.

Recognizing a great opportunity to broaden her career into general management, her husband Matthew, and three children Thomas, Oliver and Amelia packed their bags and moved across the globe, landing in Northern California.

Skye was appointed Field Vice President of the Walnut Creek Field Office in January 2017, where she led an impressive team that delivered strong business results for 1200 restaurants in Alaska, California, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. In January 2020, Skye moved into the West Zone President role and relocated to Chicago, where she is now based with her family.

Skye is passionate about developing emerging talent in the McDonald’s system from our restaurant teams to owner/operators and her own team. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Skye believes in the strength of Better Together and leveraging the McDonald’s system; the owner/operators, employees and suppliers to look after all McDonald’s customers and ultimately grow the brand.
