Skye Anderson

West Zone President, McDonald's USA

Skye Anderson is the West Zone President for McDonald’s USA. In this role, she leads strategy, talent and brand development to drive long-term growth for more than 5,700 McDonald’s restaurants across the Western United States.

Skye began her McDonald’s career in Finance in 2000. From there, she moved on to roles of increasing scope and responsibility over 17 years culminating into her role as CFO of McDonald’s Australia.

In January 2017, she was offered an opportunity to join McDonald’s USA as the General Manager of the Pacific Sierra Region, and 18 months later was appointed Field Vice President of the Walnut Creek Field Office, where she led a team that delivered strong business results for 1,200 restaurants covering Alaska, California, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. In January 2020, Skye was appointed West Zone President.

Skye is passionate about developing emerging talent from our McDonald’s restaurant teams to Owner Operators and staff. Skye serves as the executive sponsor of the McDonald’s Global Women’s Leadership Network.

Prior to joining McDonald’s, she worked for Greenwood Challoner and Deloitte Australia for five years in audit and assurance servicing clients in the Retail and Automotive industries.

Skye has a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Accounting and is a Chartered Accountant. She lives in Chicago with her husband and three children.
