Chief Development Officer, McDonald's USA
As McDonald's USA Chief Development Officer, Bryan Brown leads the Restaurant Development team focused on accelerating the pace of McDonald's restaurant growth and modernization across the U.S. market, including real estate, construction, design, architecture, facilities, and strategy/analytics. In this role, Bryan oversees the expansion of McDonald's in the U.S. and helps steward a portfolio of more than 13,000 restaurants, ensuring development efforts support the evolving needs of customers, crew, and Owner/Operators.
Bryan brings more than three decades of experience across restaurant development, real estate, construction, and design, with a career defined by scaling high-growth brands and building the capabilities needed to support long-term system expansion. Most recently, he served as Head of Development at Raising Cane's, where he reported to the founder and Co-CEO and led development for the 800-restaurant system — building and leading a 115-person organization spanning market planning, real estate, design, procurement, construction, and facilities management. Bryan joined Raising Cane's in 2011 as Senior Vice President, when the brand was an early-stage regional concept, and over his tenure established the development function and scaled the processes and infrastructure that helped grow Raising Cane's into a national restaurant system and one of the country's top restaurant concepts. Prior to Raising Cane's, he held leadership roles across the restaurant, retail, and financial services industries.
Bryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Oklahoma State University. Bryan is married to his wife, Tori, and together they have two children, Stone and Piper.
