Patrick Gerber

Patrick Gerber serves as Chief Restaurant Officer for McDonald's USA, responsible for the operational strategy and standards of our restaurants across National Operations and McOpCo, Franchising and Franchise Relations.

Patrick brings a 25-year McDonald's career that began as a crew member in Switzerland and has since spanned nearly every level of the business. Most recently, he served as SVP, Chief Restaurant Officer for McDonald's UK & Ireland, a role he stepped into in September 2025. Before that, he was part of the McDonald's Canada team, where he served as Senior Director of National Operations beginning in 2021 and later as Field Vice President, East beginning in 2023.

Over the course of his career, Patrick has overseen the successful implementation of McDelivery in the Swiss market and helped guide McDonald's Switzerland through the global pandemic. He brings a global perspective and deep experience across Field Service, Operations, McOpCo, and Franchising, paired with a genuine passion for people, operations, and restaurant performance.
