President, McDonald’s USA
Skye Anderson is President, McDonald’s USA, leading strategy and operations for the U.S. business and its nearly 14,000 restaurants. A proven leader with deep experience across finance, field operations, market leadership, and enterprise transformation, Skye brings a broad System perspective and strong operator mindset to one of McDonald’s most important markets.
Over her 26-year career with McDonald’s, Skye has held senior leadership roles across global and market teams. She spent the first 17 years of her career in Finance, including serving as CFO of McDonald’s Australia, before joining McDonald’s USA in 2017 to broaden her experience in general management. Over the next six years, Skye served as Field Vice President of the Walnut Creek Field Office and later as West Zone President, McDonald’s USA, where she led strategy, operations, talent, and brand development to drive long-term growth across the Western United States.
In 2023, she was appointed President of Global Business Services (GBS), where she built a new enterprise capability from the ground up and scaled it globally. Under her leadership, she drove a significant transformation agenda that helped reimagine how McDonald’s operates by building capabilities rooted in speed and agility.
Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer, McDonald’s USA. In that role, she directly led the U.S. National Operations, Franchising, Restaurant Development, and McOpCo functions, with additional oversight of U.S. Supply Chain and U.S. Technology.
Skye is passionate about developing emerging talent across the McDonald’s System - from restaurant teams to Owner/Operators and staff.
Prior to joining McDonald’s, Skye worked for Greenwood Challoner and Deloitte Australia in audit and assurance. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Accounting and is a Chartered Accountant. She lives in Chicago with her husband and three children.
