Chief Operating Officer, McDonald’s USA
Skye Anderson serves as Chief Operating Officer, McDonald’s USA, providing direct leadership for U.S. National Operations, Restaurant Development, and McOpCo, with oversight of U.S. Supply Chain and U.S. Technology. A proven leader with deep U.S. market experience and leadership of Global Business Services (GBS), she is uniquely suited to overseeing an integrated operations organization aligned to deliver consistently strong restaurant experiences.
Over her 26-year career with McDonald’s, Skye has held senior leadership roles across finance, field operations, and market leadership. She spent the first 17 years of her career in finance, culminating in her role as CFO of McDonald’s Australia, before joining McDonald’s USA in 2017 to broaden her experience into general management. During her six years in the U.S. market, Skye served as Field Vice President of the Walnut Creek Field Office and later as West Zone President, McDonald’s USA, where she led strategy, operations, talent, and brand development to drive long-term growth across the Western United States.
Since 2023, she served as President of GBS, where she built a new enterprise capability from the ground up and scaled it globally, including the establishment of new offices in Hyderabad and Mexico City. Under her leadership, GBS helped reimagine how McDonald’s operates—modernizing ways of working and building capabilities rooted in speed and agility to drive solutions into the business more effectively.
Skye is passionate about developing emerging talent across the McDonald’s System—from restaurant teams to Owner/Operators and staff. She proudly serves as a Director on the Women’s Foodservice Forum board, supporting the advancement of women leaders across the food industry.
Prior to joining McDonald’s, Skye worked for Greenwood Challoner and Deloitte Australia in audit and assurance. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Accounting and is a Chartered Accountant. She lives in Chicago with her husband and three children.
