That’s why we involve food experts, like our suppliers, Our Chefs, and our Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, who lead us in staying food-forward, keeping ingredients and nutrition in mind. Cynthia Goody

PhD, MBA, RDN, LDN, CFS

As a mom and registered dietitian nutritionist, I’m proud to have contributed to McDonald’s Happy Meal® developments such as the reformulation of the Fat Free Chocolate Milk Jug, choice of sides (Cuties® and Yoplait Go-GURT Low Fat Strawberry Yogurt), and inclusion of kids fries (110 calories).

I love having the opportunity to educate family, friends, and the community about what’s in our food. I enjoy working closely with our supplier partners to develop ingredient statements and answer questions about food allergies. Providing ingredient, allergen, and nutrition information in order to help consumers make informed choices when visiting our restaurants is the most rewarding part of my job!

I love seeing the impact of my contribution. This ranges from leading the posting of calories on menu boards to offering Buttermilk Crispy Tenders with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives and our Bacon Ranch Salad and Southwest Salad made with more than 2.5 cups of vegetables.
